Wifi@McD

This mornin i had nothing better to do so i went to McD Greenlane to try out the wifi connection.. i mean since its free n all n theres free refills for coke..:P

So i set up my laptop... got a cup of coke n connected to the internet...
switched on bitcomet n got a 20-30+ kBps download speed...
Windows live messenger worked well.. connected on the first try...
texas holdem poker on facebook quite smooth...

Everything went well for the first 10 minutes or so and then...POP!.. download speed 0...messenger disconnected... $2k bet in poker gone down the drain... first thing that went thru my mind is dat i got disconencted form the wifi connection but it says signal strength excellent 54Mbps... that means the modem got disconnected... in abt a minute it got fixed and everything was up again...

So i continued all my stuff... bitcomet, messenger, poker... everything went as well as the first time.. another 5-10 minutes later, the same thing happened... i was ok until abt the fifth time it happened i got frustrated so i went to get a refill (4th time i think...:P) den came back n i wanted to shut down the computer... then there was a "ding!" sound... it was my bitcomet.. the download YesMan has completed... so i ended up watching YesMan instead of playing poker... It was definately less stressful than having the connection disconnecting every now n then...

But it was still fun... having free flow drinks and being able to chat wif frens(online) at McD... U shud try it some time.. :D
